Systems Administrator

The Central Nebraska Public Power and Irrigation District has a full-time employment opportunity for a versatile, motivated, self-starting, System Administrator. A bachelor’s degree in computer science or management information systems or equivalent work experience is required. Job Description -  Support and maintain the District’s information technology infrastructure, ensuring reliable, secure, and high‑performance systems that support both corporate and operational needs. This role is responsible for managing servers, virtualization platforms, network equipment, Microsoft 365 services, cybersecurity tools, and specialized OT/SCADA‑adjacent systems. The System Administrator works with engineering, telecommunications, and corporate management to maintain critical systems that support CNPPID’s power generation, irrigation operations, and business functions.
