Job Description - Responsible for repair and maintenance of District automobiles, trucks and other gasoline engines, including light and medium equipment. Assist in the preparation of cost estimates for repair or replacement of major component parts or complete units.
In addition, will perform and be responsible for repair and maintenance of diesel engines and heavy construction equipment. Perform long-range planning of major repair and overhaul scheduling of engines.
In addition, will perform and be responsible for highly technical metal repair, fabrication, refurbishment, fabrication of parts and repair of equipment or structures as directed.
