Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair work on all electrical and mechanical equipment associated
with canal and dam structures, hydro plants and substations. Requires the understanding of basic electrical
circuits as well as electrical and mechanical drawings. Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on
generators, turbines and auxiliary equipment located in hydro plants. Analyze problems in electrical and
mechanical equipment and determine degree of repair necessary. Work competently and safely around high
